LH Images was founded in 2008 with a simple philosophy: provide extraordinary Wedding Photography using a fresh approach to the typical photography business.  We are dedicated to this philosophy and so while you may find that doing business with LH Images is a little different, you are sure to be satisfied by our creative approach and down to earth, fun personalities.

Owner and lead photographer Matthew Lovell had over 10 years experience in the Wedding industry before he even picked up a camera. While working for his family at Original’s Cakes and Catering, he gained an innate understanding of the wedding and the progression of the day.  This gives him a unique outlook while being a photographer, because he is able to tap into that experience and use it to make sure your day goes smoothly.

Matthew’s studio is currently located in Athens, Georgia, but he and his fiancé Kristina regularly travel all over Georgia for photographic assignments.  The two are available for Wedding Photography anywhere in the Southeast, and do not charge any travel fees for any Weddings within 2 hours’ drive of Atlanta or Athens.

Matthew and Kristina are scheduled to be married on December 11^th, 2010 and are looking forward to that date.  Their biggest shock was how quickly the first six months after their engagement flew by, so they understand every couple planning a wedding, and how they feel the time crunch.

While LH Images primary focus is providing creative, extraordinary Wedding Photography, their secondary focus is bridal education about Wedding Photography. Beginning in 2010, they will be holding regular seminars for recently engaged couples teaching them the basics of Wedding Photography and what to look for when shopping. The goal is make sure that every bride LH Images comes in contact with has the opportunity to not only receive excellent service, but to learn how to seek out excellent service elsewhere.

Recently, LH Images was selected as the exclusive photographer for Merle Manders Conference Center’s “Big Day Giveaway.” One lucky bride will receive her dream wedding in August of 2010.

Matthew is a current, active member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and is pursuing Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) status, as well as a Master of Photography (M. Photog) through PPA’s network of affiliated schools around the country. Both of these are highly distinguished achievements and can take several years to complete. Matthew hopes complete his CPP by 2011, and his M. Photog by 2012.  He is also an active member of the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI.)  Through his membership in these organizations, he is able to stay on top of the latest in the photographic industry, as well as learn about new products and services as they enter the market for consumers.
