Why LH Images?

LH Images photographs this couple at the Taylor Grady House in Athens, Georgia on their first dance of their wedding. Athens Wedding Photography.

How many photographers have you met — spoken with — researched to date? One too many or one too few?  As of this writing, there are roughly 500 Wedding Photographers in the Atlanta Area, not to mention all of North Georgia and the Carolina’s.  But, in this short span of web-space we want to tell you not just who we are but why we feel like we don’t just fit in with the rest of the other photographers in the world.

We want to start off with the most important part of our business: You.

We are here because there is nothing better than watching a bride turn to face the aisle after saying “I do” and giving the world that grin that only someone who is on top of the world has.  We are photographers so that we can be there for brides and grooms who just want to be able to have good quality photos of one of the momentous days of their lives. To us you aren’t just a client, you are our friend. And friends help each other out, so on the day that is heralded as being exceptionally stressful, our job is to make sure that you don’t have to worry about us or your pictures at all. It’s fun to be able to show our friends their photos after the wedding and have them tell us that they didn’t even know we were there to get that photo but thank you for being there to do so.

Additionally, weddings are our speciality.  In addition, we photograph children and families, but there’s nothing better to us than packing up gear on Friday night in anticipation of Saturday’s Wedding.   Since our passion is weddings, we are constantly striving to learn and grow as our industry changes.   As a team, we attend many conferences, conventions, and week-long schools to stay sharp on our abilities and stay on the forefront of the ever changing tide of Wedding Photography.

What does this mean for you specifically?  It means that you have a pair of photographers who are always ready and willing to learn no matter the situation and who have continued to perfect their craft through sheer dedication.

Ultimately, we believe it is our attention to detail that sets us apart from the crowd.  And that attention to detail shines through the most in our meticulous care of your image files.  We have to be a bit realistic here, folks. We are working in the digital era, with billions of little bits of data that come together to form an image.  Back in the film days, photographers took extra care to protect their film, but it seems that in the digital times, photographers (amateurs and professionals alike) have gotten slack in their care of images and image files.  These are some of the steps we take to ensure the longevity of your images:

  • -Our “quadruple-redundant” back-up procedures ensure that your images are always backed up in multiple locations, on multiple media
  • -We use professional level memory cards for our cameras.  These have a much lower failure rate than other consumer level cards
  • -The discs we use to store our images are archival-quality DVD’s with a shelf life of up to 100 years.
  • -We will do our best to make sure your images are secure forever.  We will never intentionally delete Wedding Images.

You are entrusting to us the task of recording your most memorable day, and that trust extends well beyond the Wedding day.

In addition to the level of care illustrated above, LH Images has a promise we would like to share with you.  This is the way we run our business, and it is our moral compass when as we shape our business and grow with the future.

Our Promise to You:

  • -We promise to never schedule more than one wedding in a day.
  • -We promise to never limit your hours of coverage.
  • -We promise to never stop learning and educating ourselves as the industry evolves.
  • -We promise to always use the highest quality recording media for the safety of your images.
  • -We promise to keep & protect your images well beyond delivery of the files.
  • -We promise to make sure your needs are met on the day of your Wedding and any other time.
  • -We promise to always be transparent about who we are and what we do.
  • -We promise to welcome you into our family as you begin yours.
  • -We promise to believe in your dreams and welcome your thoughts.
  • -We promise to never make a promise we don’t intend keep.

Each of the above aspects taken separately alone shows how a photographer cares about his work and the people and he works for. But together, we give you something that we believe some other photographers may not: people and a company that cares about your wedding day and your wedding photos as much as you do.
